Spectacular book! Fully worthy of the Konradsheim, Grube 911RS book. More than a third of the 384 pages of the book are devoted to the origin design, development of the real 911R. While most histories seem amazed that marketing refused to approve the production of the 50 units needed for homologation in group 4 -- the authors point out the selling price would have been approximately the same as the much faster 906. As expected the production values are irreproachable. Many of the photographs have not been previously published. The original Carrera RS book and its second edition are highly collectible and limited to 1500 English copies so predictable shall this be!
