356 Registry Tech/Rest Guide, Vol. 1 at $19.95 reprints the best technical articles from the first 15 years, while 356 Registry Tech/Rest Guide, Vol. 2 at 24.95 reprints the best technical articles from the next 10 years of the 356 Registry.  It should be obvious that Vol. 2 does not replace the other.  Vol. 1 is still needed.  Vol. 2 shows much improved reproduction, paralleling the improvement in production values in the 356 Registry Magazine.  Articles range from suggestions on how to do it yourself; more precisely on how to avoid the more obvious pitfalls – always read the pertinent section before doing anything the first time on your 356 – to historical articles.  These are two of the first books you should buy.
